Do you usually run? If so, how many times per week?

I usually run 5 days a week for at least 30 min. I run in the morning because it gives me more energy throughout the day. By the time it’s 7pm, I am already gone, so I don’t feel like going for a run in the evening. I know there are people that prefer to exercise in the evening, so I guess you need to do whatever makes you comfortable and happy.

I came across Laue Run Club website the other day. Laue Run Club was found by Laura and Ueuller both from Brazil who are currently based in Sydney. Laura and Ueuller’s passion for running started when they were living in Brazil, but once they were reallocated back to Australia, a community of runners was created.

LAUE Run Club – we started our initiative in 2016 with the goal of getting people to start physical activity such as walking and running. It was through this that we decided to hold weekly events to socialise and know each person’s story. We have countless testimonials on our website where people talk about why they run and what led them to choose LAUE Run Club.

Although we are practicing this sport, we also realize that food and nutrition is of great importance, bringing more positive results both in having a healthy lifestyle and better results for your runs. With this we entered into a partnership with Luana Marchi who offers nutritious wholesome meal plans.

From here on, we bring a new vision to LAUE Run Club 2017 which is to motivate and inspire people through our new training sessions and our social media. Despite running being considered an individual sport, runners are almost always accompanied. The group-jogging strategy is also a good call for those who dislike training alone and are in need of encouragement.

Group training is much more fun, the atmosphere is very welcoming and encouraging, leading to comments “He wakes up early just as I do”, “If he/she can, I can too” and the healthy competition that makes you want to improve your performance, pushing beyond your limits.

It takes discipline and will power to overcome laziness, that temptation to stay in bed a little longer then get to work and go straight home is always the simple approach. Persistence should be reinforced so you do not get discouraged. But the simple fact of seeing other runners sweating and working hard in training, is already a reason to go ahead and make sure you are on the right track.

A persistência deve estar em primeiro plano. O simples fato de você ver outros corredores suando e dando duro no treino já é um incentivo para seguir em frente e ter certeza que você está no caminho certo.
